"The (K)nots We Left Behind" summarizes the driving force behind my current artistic process. In my work, all knots and binding elements between different materials carry a strong symbolic meaning. They represent human encounters throughout life, companions along the way, as well as inevitable separations. For me, they form the narrative thread of a life: re-connecting bonds, intertwined destinies, companions on life's journey. These metaphors underpin my artistic approach and continuously inspire and motivate my creative process.
